Press Stop in the composer, then send again. If it keeps happening, switch to a different model from the model selector or check your internet connection. A quick app restart clears most transient issues.

Check your permission mode in the composer footer. In “Ask permissions” the agent waits for your approval on every action; switch to “Accept edits” to let it write changes automatically. Deletes always ask first.

Re-open the folder from the picker and make sure the app has permission to read it. Files added outside the app appear after the next sync, so reopen the folder to refresh the tree.

You may have hit your plan’s monthly message limit, so see Pricing to upgrade, or manage your plan from your account page. Otherwise, lower the reasoning effort or switch models. If you use your own API key, confirm it’s still valid in Settings.

Re-enter the key in the app’s Settings. Keys are stored on your device in your OS keychain and only sent with your own requests, never saved on our servers, so if you switched machines you’ll need to add it again.

Sign out from the account menu and sign back in. If the window doesn’t return after signing in with Google, restart the app and retry.

When an update is ready a pill appears above the account button in the sidebar. Click it to relaunch. If it doesn’t apply, quit and reopen the app, or reinstall the latest build from the Download page.
